While reading Full Frontal Feminism I came across the chapter informing that some digital cameras have a "slimming" feature. What does this say about today's culture? Would you use this feature yourself and why?

Hello, thanks for the heads up about The Changeling movie. I will definitely see the movie after finals. I read your question about the slimming effect of the camera. I wouldn't use it, because a picture speaks the truth. What's next a feature to lighten my skin or a feature to make my hair shiny. If people don't want to see my picture, they don't have to look. The truth of the matter is that the company only added that feature to sell the camera to people who want to look slimmer. If you think about the greediness of the company and how they are using people, I think that may be enough of a reason to skip that brand.
